Say Yes To This Dress

Aimi Jones

Most of us have done it before. Sent an embarrassing text to the wrong person, submitted an email full of grammatical errors or maybe accidentally let someone see a revealing picture of yourself on your phone (you were just trying to get to the family vacation pics, lol). After the shame, we usually just laugh it off and move on. But what happens when you make a mistake on such a large-scale that the consequences can’t be reversed? That’s exactly what happened to 21-year-old Aimi Jones. She’s a waitress and a beauty therapist in Oxford, England.  But when she found out why a yellow dress she submitted on eBay was getting so many hits, she thought the situation was far from beautiful. Apparently, Aimi didn’t zoom in close enough on the dress she was trying to sell. In the left corner of the picture, she can be seen with her phone or either her camera in hand, wearing just a bra. Yep, forget the yellow dress, eBay viewers were much more concerned with the almost bare naked lady in the picture.

“It’s so embarrassing. It is such a dizzy, stupid thing to do and now the whole world’s seen me in the nude,” said Jones. It’s not necessarily stupid. but yes, we are sure she’s embarrassed. Especially since she posted the picture on Twitter and Facebook as well. Let’s hope she doesn’t have a lot of followers….SMH. Guess she didn’t realize all the friend requests that were probably flooding in too, lol. So you would think after such an embarrassing fiasco that she would take down this dress from eBay right? Well, not exactly. She actually re-posted the dress, but this time with a caption that read,  ”As seen by thousands. Never worn naked”. LOL…at least she’s being a good sport about it. Her boyfriend found it quite hilarious. Awkward maybe, but what boyfriend would find it hilarious that his girlfriend accidentally leaked a semi-nude photo of herself online???

As embarrassing as it may be, this may have worked to her favor. She probably has seen a spike in tips at her job and maybe even an increased interest in her beauty therapy business. Plus, these days it’s hard to believe when anyone leaks a picture if it was purely by accident. With so many celebrities leaking pictures of themselves, you have to wonder could this be Aimi Jones’ ploy at her fifteen minutes of fame. Maybe that’s why her boyfriend is ok with it. He thinks there is a fat check on the way, lol. One thing is for sure though. Aimi’s yellow dress will never be looked at the same way again.

What do you think about it all? Was it really an accident? What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve sent out by mistake?

T-Mobile, Pay What You Owe

Let’s face it. We’ve all been fed up with customer service at some point or another. Whether it’s the cashier in the drive through with a horrible attitude or the manager that lies to you and says they’re doing all they can to resolve the issue. In our minds, we often act out slapping the person in the head, stomping on them or throwing things (bricks, pots, etc) at them to release our anger. Or is it just me??? Well, one furious Manchester, England T-Mobile customer named Jason Codner decided to take matters into his own hands….literally.

Earlier this week, Jason trashed a local T-Mobile store in Manchester, England by ripping displays from the walls, tearing down signs, and spraying phones with 2 fire extinguishers. What possibly could have made him do this? A refund. Or better yet, a refund that he did not get that he felt he deserved. There aren’t any details as to what the refund was for, but it definitely angered Jason enough to trash the T-Mobile store. And here’s the kicker…he walks in without any kind of mask, and slowly trashes the store as onlookers eventually witness him getting arrested. Surprisingly, he doesn’t resist the arrest and takes full responsibility for his actions. Way to go Jason…even if you do get that refund you more than likely deserved, you’ll be paying much more than that in damages.

So what Do you think about Jason Codner’s rampage? Were his actions justified if he really was ripped off? One thing is for sure. Jason Codner has made huge headlines, and people with T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint phones are all watching the video of his antics. Just goes to show that only takes a little guts and irrational behavior to be a star today. Have you ever lost your mind for a second regarding customer service matters? Or have you thought out a release of anger similar to Jason’s? Definitely a WTH moment….feel free to share your thoughts.

And oh yeah…HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
