On February 4th, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. I will share the new drinks I tried for my birthday. Basically, my birthday is taking over the month of February for Thirsty Thursdays. Pearfect 75 is the first drink I tried for my birthday weekend. This one was from Ida Claire. If you love pears, this is the drink for you! The drink includes gin, spiced pear juice, honey, lime juice and sparkling rose. Despite the sweet tasting flavors included, this drink does not have an overpowering sugary taste. 

Pearfect 75 will cost you about $10, unless you come to Ida Claire during happy hour. However, this drink is worth the full price. There’s a little bit of spice here, some sweetness and just enough liquor to give this drink the perfect kick. If there is a sexy drink that strong enough for a man, but smooth enough for a woman, this is it. I honestly am not a huge fan of gin, but it’s an excellent mix with all of the other ingredients here. There is no losing with this drink. Definitely try it for your next happy hour! 

Although Thursdays are reserved for drinks, there is an appetizers that I must mention. The Crawfish Corn Beignets. These look like hush puppies, but they taste way better than that. These beignets are fried to perfection with bits of crawfish meat and corn inside. Plus, they come with a delicious smoked mustard remoulade. I get these every time I go to Ida Claire.
